Regeneration Hubs by Region
We implement our mission by supporting local parnter organizations, helping build their capacity with fundraising, technical assistance, connection to markets, program development and monitoring and evaluation. Our current partners are at various stages of Hub development and scaling and include:
Africa
- The Drylands Natural Resources Centre, Kenya (start-up moringa oil processing, dryland food security tree crops, 1M trees planted by 1000 families engaged)
- Seed Savers Network, Kenya (start-up avocado oil processing, national training/seed saving organization with 65,000 families engaged)
- NEW Esther Njeri and Roland VanRenen’s Sytropic Agroforestry and Permaculture Regenerative Hub, Kenya (start-up, food security, 100 local families, and thousands around the continent engaged)
- Maasai Center for Regenerative Pastoralism, Kenya (start-up, cattle, food security and native dryland tree crops, 300 families engaged)
- NEW Ola Tom’s Regeneration Hub and Demonstration Training Farm, Uganda (start-up for Shea butter processing, thousands engaged around the continent)
- APAA Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (diverse food security crops and corn milling, 3000 families engaged)
Asia
- Forestwise and Fat Forest, Indonesia (rainforest natural product harvesting, 1000 families engaged)
- NEW Tribes and Natures Defenders, Philippines (start-up coffee producing and native reforestation, 300 families engaged)
Australia
Living Lands and Living Waters Majulla, Inc. and the Martuwarra River Watershed Council, NW Australia (start-up cultural tourism, and aboriginal medicinal products processing, fundraising, research and waterhsed rights advocacy phase)
Caribbean/Central America
- Womenful Voice, Haiti (start-up food security and reforestation, 350 families engaged)
- Support Roatan, Honduras (start-up breadfruit flour processing, and food security reforestation, 300 families engaged)
North America
- Mālamalama Sustainability Center. Maui Hawaii, USA (youth entreprenuership and sustainable living skills, processed forest fruits for island food security, hundreds engaged)
- Renew Appalachia, Eastern Kentucky, USA (start-up, herb processing and native reforestation)
South America
- Camino Verde and Moena Botanicals, Madre de Dios and Loreto, Peru, rainforest aromatic tree and botanical essential oil processing, forest protection & Amazonian food security, 100 families engaged
- Village Catalyst, Rio Maya, Peru (cacao and sacha inchi processing, native reforestation, 300 families engaged)
